Need For Children's Mental Health
Young children have active imaginations, which can be cultivated to help them learn and be more creative. The environment in the preschool is designed to inspire exploration. In the first five years of life, children acquire the basic capabilities that prepare them for later success in school and life. Many studies show that high-quality preschools improve achievement, behavior, and school readiness for economically disadvantaged children. Follow-up research with these same children shows that they earn more money, experience more stable home lives, and become more responsible citizens than they would have if they had not attended preschool. Children who attend preschool are better prepared to enter kindergarten, both academically and socially. Whatever their format, preschools offer parents and children typical benefits. A good program can help children develop their gross and fine motor skills , improve their language and communication abilities, and exercise their creativity.

Karate
Karate is one of the most systematic and scientific Korean traditional martial arts that teaches more than physical fighting skills. It is a discipline that shows ways of enhancing our spirit and life through training our body and mind. Today, it has become a global sport that has gained an international reputation, and stands among the official games in the Olympics. At climb kiddo we encourage you to enroll your children and yourself in our captivating sessions of Karate.
First, Karate is the right way of using Tae and Kwon ‘fists and feet,’ or all the parts of the body that are represented by fists and feet. Second, it is a way to control or calm down fights and keep the peace. This concept comes from the meaning of Tae Kwon ‘to put fists under control’ [or ‘to step on fists’]. Thus Karate means “the right way of using all parts of the body to stop fights and help to build a better and more peaceful world.”
Karate has its own share of physical benefits: it improves muscle tone and appearance, reduces stress, improves confidence and self esteem, increases strength and stamina, improves concentration and focus and a lot more. To learn more about our Karate classes click here!
Abacus
The word Abacus derived from the Greek word ‘abax’ which means ‘tabular form’. It was said to be invented from ancient Babylon in between 300 to 500 bc. Abacus was the first counting machine. It was widely in use in different countries from the Middle East to Japan, China, Russia as well as Europe.
This century old calculating tool is extremely beneficial in improving brain skills and is significantly helpful for children at their younger ages. Young children have the capability and curiosity to learn new things and unlock their brain skills unlike anyone. Hence it is our duty at Climb Kiddo to help children and elder people in exploring their maximum capabilities whilst making their Abacus sessions extremely fun.
An abacus is usually divided into two regions, the upper and the lower. The bar used to separate the sections is called a bar. This helps improve mental calculations and quicker addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication. While everyone knows how handy it is to use an abacus for math, there are several hidden benefits of abacus that help a child’s overall development without anyone noticing. The early years are when most of the child’s development occurs, enrolling them in abacus classes early can help them tremendously.
Some noticeable benefits of Abacus:
-
It Improves Concentration
-
Improves Observation and Listening Skills
-
Enhances Visualization and Imagination
-
Memory Strengthening
-
Boosts Creativity

Dance
Dance is a form of rhythmic body movement which has been known to have several health benefits to humankind. It is a creative arts therapy that uses movement and oftentimes verbal processing to observe, assess and intervene in a person’s overall health. Dance/movement therapy uses body language and non-verbal communication, an innate primitive quality inherent to every living thing, to validate and support an individual’s existence and to facilitate change and growth. Dancing can reduce stress, improve flexibility, enhance coordination and, yes, even make us smarter. What many people do not know is that there is a niche form of psychotherapy that uses movement, the core component of dance, to heal and integrate the mind, body and soul.
We at Climb Kiddo have trained dance teachers who can help you access various forms of dance like Zumba, Western Dance and Kathak. From your little ones to the elder members in your family, we would like to see everyone in our dance classes. Come and join us in our Dance classes.

Drawing
Through Art, humans can express their imagination and showcase their skills. At Climb Kiddo we help you to unlock your creativity through our interactive drawing & craft classes. Our teachers here will guide you throughout the class so that you can get the most out of your imagination.
Besides exploring your creative corners, art helps you to improve fine motor skills including any specialized movement of the hands, wrists, and fingers. As an adult, you rely on fine motor skills when you type, drive, or even text. It’s important for your child to develop strong fine motor skills at a young age. Having a child draw specific items, especially in relationship to each other, can help him or her perform fundamental visual analysis of everyday spaces. In addition to improving fine motor skills, drawing enables your child to draw connections between what he or she sees and what he or she does. This hand-eye coordination is important in athletic and recreational situations, as well as in academic scenarios such as penmanship lessons.
